I think it&#39;s entirely appropriate and reasonable for the college to exclude what is typically &quot;female&quot; attire, as well as other clothing that is meant to make a particular value statement.<br /><br />The policy is not &quot;discrimination&quot; in any way, shape or form against the transgendered or cross-dressing student population.<br /><br />Women have been allowed to wear pants and flat shoes and carry briefcases for a long time. As a woman.. I have *never* found make up... mandatory. <br /><br />Neither should the few students protesting the college policy.<br /><br />We&#39;ve come a long way, baby.
