- ABA Journal's Lawyers Scammed by Fake Job Ad tells how how identity thieves used a Craigslist "lawyers wanted" job ad to fraudulently obtain social security numbers and bank account information from lawyers who applied for the advertised positions (they are now suing, it goes without saying)
- New York Employment Lawyer Blog discusses a news article that contends Eighty Percent of Employers Violate Wage Laws
- Wall Street Journal Law Blog is following the continuing saga of the politically charged hiring and firing of the inaugural dean of UC Irvine's fledgling law school in Report: Chemerinsky Wanted Back
- Also at WSJ Law Blog is an interview with a leading American media commentator on legal matters: Q&A: The New Yorker’s Jeffrey Toobin
- Overlawyered has a hissy fit because a not-for-profit organization's newsletter "consist[s] of more than a half-dozen news vignettes, all recently covered on Overlawyered," without mentioning or crediting Overlawyered (or presumably, the authors of the original stories that Overlawyered borrowed from, when writing the subsequently borrowed items)
- Settle It Now offers help for the conflict avoidant in Conflict Avoidance: Social Obligations, Larry David and Shame
- Lisa Hutch, a student blogger (slawger?) at University of Saskatchewan College of Law links to the Weakly Lawyer's Hot Tips for First Year: How to Get Through First Year Law Without Being a Complete Annoyance
