The 2007 Weblog Awards nominees for Best Law Blog are in. Click the screenshot to vote at the Weblog Awards website:
Our vote will definitely be going to the Wall Street Journal Law Blog. It is the one blawg in our travels that consistently provides the news we want to read before anyone else has it.
Aside from these finalists, the award site also has a listing of all law blogs that received nominations, many of which are significantly more interesting than most of the finalists, in my opinion.
In particular, the omission of Overlawyered as a finalist verges on criminal. Day-in and day-out, its authors are the blawg world's most interesting, topical and entertaining read for legal happenings of note.
Same goes for ABA Journal Top Stories.

Canadian Blogs
I confess that many of the nominees for Best Canadian Blog are mostly unfamiliar to me. Check them out for yourself. My vote will be going to Scott's DiaTribes. Congrats also to Galloping Beaver, which was nominated in another category.
(And no, Wise Law Blog isn't there this year - I really do need to teach my mom how to use the internets...)
