It's time to consider dumping any other Google services and to avoid using new ones like the plague. Case in point: I was thinking of setting up Google Calendar as a way to bridge my PCLaw/Outlook Calendar to a third party scheduling service, but I'm no longer convinced it's worth the hassle I'll go through when Google Calendar is eventually killed.
What are those Googleheads thinking? They have irreparably damaged their brand in my eyes.
