"Going Rogue" - A Tribute

In honour of the naming of Sarah Palin's upcoming memoir, "Going Rogue - An American Life" we will rerun a classic blast from the past:

Meanwhile, even the hawkish tabloid, the New York Post, acknowledges that Ms. Palin's ambitious plans for the lecture circuit are hitting some speed bumps:

Palin's bookers are said to be asking for $100,000 per speech, but an industry expert tells Page Six: "The big lecture buyers in the US are paralyzed with fear about booking her, basically because they think she is a blithering idiot."
..."Palin is so uninteresting to so many groups -- unless they are interested in moose hunting," said our insider. "What does she have to say? She can't even describe what she reads."

  1. Once again, the mainstream media attacks Sarah Palin on a personal level, not on policy.

When did the un-named, unsubstantiated claim of a supposed industry insider that "The big lecture buyers ... are paralyzed with fear ... because she is a blithering idiot" (editing mine) somehow become actual news reporting?

Or even worth re-reporting for that matter? Unless it just serves as a self-echo chamber by those who feel good by demonizing her.

Love her or hate her - she's got a huge following... and nasty, personal, unsubstantiated insults don't make her look bad - only the author of such bile.

A whole lot of moose hunters out there, apparently.
