Looking like a Liberal Majority in Ontario

At about 10:05 p.m., with about 25% of the votes counted, CBC projected a Liberal majority government in Ontario.

CBC's current seat tally as at 10:25 p.m. (leading and ahead):

71 Liberal

25 Conservative

11 NDP

UPDATE: 10:50 - Premier Dalton McGuinty is currently making his televised "victory speech." With the seat tally stable and unchanged, it looks like is is all over for the election portion of the evening.

If these trends remain, the Liberals will have added 4 seats in Ontario, increasing their reprersentation in the Legislature to 75 members from 71.

Conservative leader John Tory has been defeated in his own riding.
