Ontario's minimum wages have increased.
The Province's general minimum wage rises today to $8.75 per hour.
The minimum wage for students under 18 years of age rises to $8.10 per hour.
The chart below (click to enlarge), adapted from the Ontario Ministry of Labour, details the full schedule of minimum wage increases now in effect, along with additional increases scheduled through March 31, 2010:

I think mininum wage should increase to 10.00
The reasoning behind this is: for example tim hortons. tim hortons can afford to have roll up to win, to allow their customers to possibly win large prizes of a great ammount. but only pay their employees mininum wage. Please let poverty in canada be a thing of the past! please.
