Introducing your child to a new partner can be challenging at the best of times. Doing so during a pandemic adds a whole other layer of complication. The recent decision of Marino Belen v Marino, 2020 ONSC 6124, is a reminder to parents that while changes to family dynamics should be embraced, it must be balanced against social circle guidelines in the new Covid19 era.
